A leading London Marketing Agency is looking for a Senior Account Manager, or an Account Manager who is ready to make the next step. The right person will have a track record of implementing effective campaigns across a number of disciplines. Capable at a strategic level with an ability to put together client presentations - they must be able to demonstrate that they have been taking responsibility for substantially bigger chunks of client business than a Senior Account Manager.
You will be working on an Automotive Manufacturer account - one of the largest clients in the agency. They deliver all the ATL and Retail communications campaigns and work with the manufacturer’s partner agencies in CRM, Digital and Events to deliver integrated campaigns.
They bring the campaign to life through any channel and experience they propose.
Creatively they work with a combination of primarily created work, adapted work from centrally developed assets and primarily developed amplification activity. The role is to work in the communications team looking after activity on a selection of the manufacturer’s models
In order to be successful at this job the person they are looking for must have the experience and can demonstrate the following;
- a track record of implementing effective campaigns across a number of disciplines and be able to demonstrate and give worked examples of this
- Be absolutely comfortable in a client facing situation, able to nurture and build relationships with junior to mid level clients, and be involved and contribute to strategic conversations involving brand positioning, business objectives, and channel strategy (but not lead them).
- Be responsible for delivery up until the point that they need to hand over to a specialist producer (TV/print/digital where relevant).
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following capabilities:
Experience of working in a multi-agency structure.
The person must also have some people management experience and be able to demonstrate the ability to manage and motivate
Strategic thinker who has worked with planners to develop strategies and effectively managed the team to deliver to the strategy
An enthusiastic approach and a ‘can-do’ attitude are key along with a track record of exceeding expectations/overcoming obstacles to deliver results
Good creative understanding and experience in stretching an idea into multiple channels
A track record of great project management
Integrated through-the-line experience,
Strong client relationship skills ideally demonstrated through references
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with experience of successfully selling in strong creative and strategic ideas.
