Our client is an award winning marketing agency based in Buckinghamshire providing marketing solutions to the automotive sector. They are now looking for an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager with automotive marketing experience to work on a premium brand automotive account.
Day-to-day management of account handling across a number of accounts, both in terms of activities and longer term planning and delivery of agreed client strategies
Be accountable for tasks and projects carried out by junior team members and will assist junior members in time-planning and self-organisation.
Help drive creative and strategic development of accounts
Demonstrate competent writing skills across preparation of press releases, press packs, feature text and copy for other communications such as online and brochures.
Drive and manage client meetings, responding to the dynamics of that meeting and ensuring that clear objectives are agreed and subsequently progressed.
The Successful Candidate will:
Be educated to degree level – preferably with a marketing qualification
Ideally have experience in an Account Management role in an agency environment
Ideally have previous experience working on automotive marketing
Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Have a strong understanding of the digital arena,
Be proactive in communicating regularly with clients, suppliers and directors
Be able to clearly prioritise as well as delegate both upwards and downwards.
Be able to oversee basic budgets and job sheets
Be competent on software programmes including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint,
Be able to identify and respond to opportunities to developing clients’ programmes, and contribute to new business activities, including development and pitching.
