A leading automotive manufacturer with a diverse product range is looking to recruit a Senior Business Analyst/Planner to provide guidance on a broad portfolio of projects across the Finance department.

Reporting to the Head of Business Planning, this role is covering Maternity leave and will run from Oct 2011 to December 2012, you will be responsible for ensuring that business strategy in Finance directs all relevant IS activity at a Pan-European level.

You will be responsible for ensuring strong project initiation and sound business cases and hence you will contribute to long term profitability.

You will also provide direction to Business Analysts in order to redefine business processes and capture business requirements.

You will have primary responsibility for the relationship between IT and Finance at a European level and be the “face of IT”

You will be a qualified accountant with a thorough understanding for finance processes ideally within a European organisation – you must be highly credible with senior business leaders.

You will have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience at a management level.

You will have a successful track record in working on complex IT projects from either Finance or IS side and ideally have proven experience of giving strategic leadership in a significant business or IS area.

This is an excellent opportunity allowing an exposure to a breadth of different accounting functions.
