Our Client is a long established and one of the most respected large automotive groups in the Middle East. Their brand portfolio, investment and on-going business development plans are second to none and they now seek an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to assume responsibility for the automotive marketing division. Candidate should have the capability of formulating and implementing Marketing strategies, policies, procedures and to plan, manage & follow-up on all marketing operations, activities encompassing all Automotive Group companies and its brand in order to develop and maintain new and improved products, brand equity and ensure the achievement of short and long term objectives through marketing initiatives.
•Develop Marketing plans, lead participating campaigns/events, releasing advertisements.
•Formulating synchronised sales, aftersales, marketing strategies and budgets for respective area of operation to ensure achievement of relevant targets.
•Monitor stocks of vehicles; ensure promotions are effectively carried out to achieve sales.
•Responsible for all internal communications by effective use of internal /external communication channels including intranet, internet, and web.
•Responsible for conducting ongoing Marketing research into developments in markets to identify approaches / products for the Group, changing customer needs and business development opportunities.
•Review performance of agencies, communication media to ensure maximum return on advertisement spends.
•Monitor and analyse various sales & market reports and take necessary action and decisions to ensure best utilisation of market opportunities and strengthened customer relationship.
•Build, leads and develop a highly motivated, achievement oriented marketing and communication teams capable of meeting, or exceeding, demanding targets and objectives.
•Masters in Marketing or equivalent post-graduate qualification from an internationally recognized business school.
•Minimum 8 - 10 years experience in marketing of which 5 years of Senior Management experience, Automotive marketing experience would be an added advantage but not essential.
•In depth knowledge and understanding of market characteristics and dynamics.
Excellent communication skills - fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
