Service Manager Required in Basildon
Our client is one of the leading automotive dealers of new and used cars in Essex, established in 1929. With an annual turnover in excess of £150 million, they represent a wide range of quality brands from Chevrolet, Citroen, Dacia, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, MG and Vauxhall, across 15 dealerships located throughout Basildon, Orsett, Rochford and Southend-on-Sea.
Due to our continued success and growth we are now looking to recruit a Service Manager to join our Nissan dealership in Basildon, Essex.
Reporting in to the Dealer Principal, the successful Service Manager will be responsible for:
· To independently manage and develop a customer orientated and profitable workshop
· Planning, and controlling and monitoring processes in customer services areas
· Optimally utilising the market, a high level of customer satisfaction and high yields for the department
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Service Manager with a background in another franchised dealer. However experienced Service staff will be considered. The successful candidate will:
· Have excellent technical knowledge gained in retail motor industry as well as previous management experience in similar role..
· Be numerate and articulate with outstanding communication and leadership skills.
· Have knowledge of vehicle manufacture and legislation.
· Hold a full UK driving licence
In return for your hard work you can expect to recieve a highly competitive basic salary and an OTE of £40,000. In addition you will also be entitled to a company car and a range of benefits including company pension.
