One of the most exciting and fastest growing car manufacturers is seeking to fill a new post of Social Media & Web Analyst. This role would suit a bright, ambitious marketing graduate with experience working in on social media for a consumer brand in either an agency or client-side role. Any previous experience in the automotive sector is not essential but would be advantageous. This role will initially be a 12 month fixed term contract, however this is expected to be an on-going rolling contract.
To manage the manufacturer’s social communities including implementation of the daily social media content calendar and moderating all channels and responding to queries
To escalate potential online issues with your manager in relation to campaigns, products or general social conversation
To conduct weekly website statistics reports including in-depth analysis against traffic sources and conversion funnel
To coordinate stories about the Business and Dealers
Manage Social Media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:
Become an advocate for the Company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
Ensure social media channels are integrated into campaigns as appropriate through communication with wider team
Manage dealer social media communities including pro-actively writing posts and content
Liaise with Product in gaining knowledge for content as well as answering customer queries with the Customer Service team
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business, report to appropriate management
Responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights
Analyse website data on traffic sources and patterns, volume, conversion funnel navigation behaviour and product selection while working with stakeholders in understanding campaign’s KPIs & customer segmentation
Liaise with the call centre on a daily basis to ensure all social media customer queries are answered and process is adhered to
Reevoo implementation and internal liaison in identifying current conversations and product details
Educated to degree level – probably in marketing
Have experience working on social media campaigns for a consumer brand – either in an agency or client environment
Demonstrates creativity and clear immersion in social media
Experience in content marketing theory and application
Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and participants and how each platform can be deployed
Maintains excellent writing and language skills
Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary
Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
Demonstrates strong social customer service techniques.
Possesses ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues
Self motivated with high levels of drive to achieve
Strong affinity in manipulating numbers and proficient in Google Analytics
Extensive knowledge in using Excel
