This is a high profile and key role within the business with responsibility for a specific segment and for taking a strategic view on how the business’s proposition for a particular group of customers’ needs to develop. The role involves people management, key account management and business development as well as operating as the sector lead to continually progress and refine the suite of products, services and solutions that our clients offers. It is also essential to understand that every customer will have their own bespoke requirements that demand differing elements of our clients’ services to be brought together and delivered in specific and unique ways. Success in this role will drive a significant increase in the scale and scope of responsibility and profile leading to substantial career development opportunities.
We are looking for a relatively rare profile of person for this role. The combination of skills, knowledge and experience needs to enable the right person to manage a small account team, in conjunction with that team be an additional key relationship presence with a small number of high profile clients, lead the business development strategy and activity to expand footprint in the sector and extension sell additional products and services to existing clients. Fundamental is the ability to strategically review our clients’ proposition, develop a clear picture of how the proposition needs to evolve and to liaise with other key colleagues in the business to make this happen.
