Part of this commitment is to deal efficiently with any claims under warranty, and it will be down to you to manage and monitor the day-to-day warranty claims process to ensure that they are fair and consistent. This will involve setting priorities and objectives for two Warranty Assessors and managing their performance, as well as visiting centres in the Toyota and Lexus networks to advise on claims issues.
A good technical understanding is important, so it would be beneficial if you had an automotive background, or some knowledge of warranties from another sector, just as crucial will be the proven ability to lead and get the best out of a small team, along with exceptional relationship-building skills and a high level of numeracy.
Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (and ideally experience of an automated processing environment) is also required.
