Dealer Technical Support and Warranty Management is critical for this innovative and well established Automotive business who are looking for a commercially astute senior manager to lead the Technical Support and Warranty departments in providing back up and support to UK dealers and customers.
As head of Technical Services & Warranty you will take responsibility for the management of a consistent and cost effective warranty function across all areas of the business.
Our client needs a credible and inspirational leader with strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage the resolution of technical issues across a varied product range. Bringing with you a wealth of experience from the car industry you will take responsibility for the motivation, management, coaching and development of the Technical Services & Warranty team.
Key accountabilities include;
Management of the UK Warranty Function involving claims management & cost control. Management of budgets.
Setting and reviewing of clear internal and external objectives & targets.
Communication of accurate technical specification to the network.
Reporting of quality issues for investigation and reporting.
Act as representative for all technical matters through industrial trade bodies.
Representative at European level on technical and warranty matters.
Communication and successful conclusion of all Product Updates and Recall notices.
Communication with VOSA.
Responsible for new vehicle requirements for cost of ownership including SMR and Insurance group rating.
Manage continuous improvement of dealer management processes and systems.
