The following appointments for 2006 will be critical to the success of future business development in all sectors.

Account Manager – Manufacturer Sector
Location: South/Home Counties
Circa £35k + bonus + benefits + quality car

With specific responsibility for developing specialist accounts within the Automotive Manufacturer sector, this key sales role requires a tenacious, yet consultative, negotiating style that will be synonymous with handling contracts at senior level. We are seeking a highly skilled negotiator with excellent verbal and written presentation skills, IT literacy and industry knowledge. Credibility in developing these accounts through on-going relationship building and customer support is essential.

Ideally, we would require a minimum of three years’ sales experience, together with high academic levels of achievement.

Business Development Manager – New Automotive Accounts
Location: Home based
To £40k + bonus + benefits + quality car

HPI is looking to extend its products into new sectors, and this pivotal role has responsibility for developing relationships with these new customers. Accounts outside the traditional Dealership and Manufacturer/Importer sectors but still within the Automotive industry are key areas ripe for development.

With excellent interpersonal skills, high levels of academic achievement and an ability to develop major accounts throughout the UK, experience of regional sales in a business-to-business market is critical. A minimum three years’ sales experience, sound understanding of broad motor industry accounts and ability to cold prospect and develop leads is a pre-requisite for shortlist inclusion.

Regional Account Executives (x2)
Locations: a) Scotland / Northern England / Northern Ireland b) North London / Home Counties
£24k + commission + benefits + quality car OTE £32k+

With full responsibility for developing accounts, within the designated region, you will be able to win new business on a regular basis whilst also managing current clients. Focussing on major car retail organisations, your client base will include both franchised and non-franchised dealerships with major groups to smaller independent operators.

Previous experience in sales with a structured background is essential for this role, ideally in a quality service driven organisation supplying client support/consumer advice or business services. Additionally, you will have outstanding presentation skills, together with a real interest in delivering customer satisfaction.
