Over 2,000 specialised vehicles – could you keep them all moving forward?

A vital source of technical expertise, you’ll design and develop a huge range of commercial vehicles and onboard equipment.You’ll set in place an ongoing programme of vehicle modifications, while managing contract suppliers and remaining abreast of technological developments.
In regular liaison with customers and colleagues, you’ll also ensure that all modifications reflect and meet the whole range of our client’s operational, safety and security needs.
To make an impression, you’ll need to be an experienced, certified Engineer with a relevant degree and a broad range of technical skills. Project and people management skills are important too, as is experience of working with a large fleet. Knowledge of road transport legislation will also prove a real asset, and you must be comfortable contributing to operational strategy.
A market leader in their field, our client relies on a major UK-wide transport and logistics operation to support their service.The challenges they face change all the time, as do the needs of their customers.As such, it’s crucial that their vehicle fleet remains able to meet these challenges head on.You’ll ensure it does.
