Suzuki Motor Corporation is a world leader in the innovative design and manufacture of automobiles, motorcycles, marine engines and ATVs. In the UK the motorcycle product range makes a major contribution to the success of Suzuki GB PLC, achieving significant growth and increased market share in some of the country’s most exciting, dynamic and demanding market sectors.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the person appointed will be responsible for ensuring that the company achieves its annual sales volume targets in a territory comprising Yorkshire, the north-east of England and Scotland.
This will be achieved through the effective management and motivation of around 35 dealers by;
Establishing and developing a strong business working relationship with dealer management
Assisting in the design and implementation of local marketing initiatives
Ensuring that the Zone’s dealer network represents the Suzuki brand and product range to the required exemplary standard
Candidates, already living on the territory, should ideally have gained relevant field sales experience working for a 4-or 2 wheel vehicle manufacturer or importer, although consideration may be given to suitable applicants from the retail sector.
An active interest in motorcycling is a pre-requisite together with a broad level of academic achievement, ideally to graduate equivalent status.
The remuneration package comprises a competitive basic salary, commission, annual bonus, fully-expensed car, second car rental option and, after a suitable probationary period, Personal Private Health cover and pension arrangements.
