To celebrate the launch of Chevrolet in the UK on January 1, 2005, Chevrolet and Daewoo have announced a two-for-one sales offer.

Buy a new Daewoo between now and November 15 and it will be exchanged with the equivalent model Chevrolet in six months time for no extra cost.

This offer means that customers can own two new cars in the space of six months and be among the first to drive a new Chevrolet on an ’05 plate. Chevrolet will even restart the clock on the three-years free service, three-year warranty, and three-year AA Total roadside assistance package.

The offer is available on a selection of cars from the Daewoo range, apart from Matiz and Nubira, with an option to upgrade when ordering the exchange vehicle. For example, the customer’s particular derivative or colour choice may not be immediately available on the Daewoo. Colour change or a derivative upgrade, even to a different model in the Chevrolet range, is possible – on a derivative or model upgrade the customer will simply pay the difference.

The Chevrolet branded vehicles will replace the current Daewoo brand in the UK. The existing Daewoo retail network will be rebranded Chevrolet and this new network will continue to look after Daewoo customer service, warranty and parts supply.

Rob Smettem, Chevrolet UK’s designated marketing director, said: ‘For those customers who are either considering buying a new Daewoo now or those who are keenly waiting for a new Chevrolet, this is the ideal solution. Apart from fuel and insurance they will experience free motoring in a new car for six months and be one of the first to drive a new Chevrolet.’
