Two new HDi diesel engines have been fitted across the Peugeot 206, 307 and 407 range. Both engines are the result of the partnership between PSA Peugeot Citroën group and the Ford Motor Company.

The standard fitment of PSA Peugeot Citroën's second-generation particulate emissions filter (FAP) also ensures that both engines easily meet the stringent Euro4 emissions standards and provide a reduction in BIK taxation of 3%.

The new DV6 TED4 1.6 litre engine will be fitted to the new 206 GTi HDi 110bhp and will become Peugeot's first diesel powered Gti, while the DW10 BTED4 - 2.0 litre HDi 136 bhp will be available on the 407 and in two 307 models, the sporty 307 Xsi Hdi and 307 SW SE.
