Kendal Motor Village on Queen Katherine’s Avenue won the Renault franchise on December 1 and has created a showroom big enough to take 11 cars, from its former used car showroom.
The whole Renault site is now decorated and equipped to Renault’s latest corporate standards.
Kendal Motor Village also recruited 16 members of staff – qualified Renault technicians, administrative and sales staff - from the recently closed Benfield dealership on Mintsfeet Road.
Familiar faces at the Renault dealership include senior technician Jonathan Thompson in the workshop, who came from Mintsfeet Road, plus after sales manager Joe Gibbons and sales manager Heath Downes in the showroom.
“We’ve appointed Gibbons, Thompson and Downes as key departmental managers; they’re well known to hundreds of drivers here in Kendal and have years of experience between them,” said Kendal Motor Village general manager Neil Tewkesbury.
Kendal Motor Village’s new Renault dealership offers new and used car sales, plus servicing, MOT testing and repairs, for all Renault cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs).
