West London Nissan has acquired the Nissan dealership in Mill Hill, north London, for an undisclosed sum from Lookers.

The site is the group’s third dealership joining showrooms in Hanwell (west London) and Shepperton (south-west London) and also represents the disposal of Lookers final Nissan showroom in England.

The Mill Hill dealership is a prominent landmark on the busy A41 into London and the acquisition will add £17m turnover to the group’s current £24m.

WLN plans to invest £1m in refurbishment to bring it in line with the Nissan Visual Identity Standards.

“We intend to transform the dealership into the flagship Nissan brand experience in London,” says dealer principal Naeem Hanif.

This will include a triple handover bay, internet café and business centre, modernization of the exterior along with a brand new centralized PDI and preparation centre, which will deal with all the group’s new and used cars.

The 6,000 sq ft showroom has space for up to 10 cars and the site also stocks 150 used cars. “It’s a strategic move as it is a great site and a great location, as well as being fantastic territory for Nissan,” says Hanif.

“We have more plans to grow by acquisition. We have an excellent relationship with Nissan and want to continue our expansion with them,” he adds.
