An amazing 19 employees at Richmond Motors Group is celebrating 21 years unbroken service with the Birmingham based independent firm - a total of 399 years.

The latest Shaun Abbey, assistant site manager at the group’s maintenance centre, based in Smethwick, has been presented with a gold watch to mark the occasion.

Ray Bradnock, group managing director, who made the presentation, said: "It is particularly satisfying and rewarding to recognise the loyalty of staff against a background of tremendous change within the industry”.

“ We are still a family owned business, and have continued to grow and prosper, due in no small part to the commitment from staff such as Shaun."

The 19 employees are: Andy Neale, Pat Hughes, Norman Thomas, Billl Hadley, John Poyner, Pam Hartle, Diane Skellern, Ray Hollis, Rick Proctor, Bryan Holland, David Reading, John Taisler, Brian Bradbury, Glen Savery, James McNally, John Beddows, Trevor Mann, Ray Bradnock and Shaun Abbey.

Richmond Motors Group have been trading in the West Midlands for over 40 years, specialising in vehicle rental, service and accident repair, and now employ more 150 people from five sites.
