The National Franchised Dealers Association, part of the RMIF, is looking for a new head of operations.

The successful candidate will replace current incumbent, Alistair Manson, who plans to retire at the end of this year.

The role includes liason with NFDA members, government bodies and industry stakeholders on dealer and related industry issues, such as block exemption, taxation and consumer protection.

The head of operations will report to NFDA director Sue Robinson.

Manson, who has been with the RMIF for 14 years, began his career as a graduate entrant at British Leyland and worked in national and international roles with brands such as Austin, Jaguar, Rover and Triumph. Previously to joining the RMIF he worked as a consultant at motor industry research operation Harbour Wade Brown, precursor to today’s ICDP.
