Collision repairer Fix Auto has signed a three-year deal with Covéa Insurance to become part of its approved network.

The insurer, formed from the merger of MMA Insurance and Provident Insurance in October 2012, has appointed the Leicestershire-based firm following a 12-month trial.

Ian Pugh, managing director at Fix Auto, commented: “We have set our own very high standards, not just in repairing vehicles but with the entire vehicle repair experience for the customer, policyholder and insurers.

“During our trial period with Covéa we demonstrated our competence in maintaining downward pressure on claims costs, whilst also delivering excellent customer service through our own, bespoke, net promoter score system.”

Barry Street, head of function for claims inspection and supplier services at Covéa, commented: “Our policyholders and intermediary partners benefit from Fix Auto’s abilities to successfully manage a number of key customer service measures.”

With 63 strategically placed franchises across the UK, Fix Auto also has long-term agreements with Allianz and Aviva.
