Listers Group has formed a partnership with CarGurus, which will see its used Audi stock available to buy online.

Listers Audi Group will now list its inventory on the CarGurus platform through the company’s paid listings programme.

Vehicles from Audi centres across Birmingham, Coventry, Stratford and Worcester as well as the Audi Authorised Repair Centre in Birmingham will be available online for CarGuru’s “ready-to-buy shoppers”.

The agreement between CarGurus and Listers Audi was signed this week and the additional inventory is now live on CarGurus.

Listers Audi’s marketing manager Mark Rennie said: “CarGurus independently answers two big questions the consumer has before they even enquire; am I buying from somewhere where I will get great service? And am I getting a good deal? The platform allows us to easily place our entire used stock in front of a large audience who are looking for cars just like the ones we have to offer.

“We know our customers turn to digital (especially mobile) when they start looking for a new car, and after they have completed their research, they are going to search for the exact one they want on a digital platform too, so it’s vital we get our share of space in this arena. CarGurus is an important part of helping us achieve that.”

Eight out of ten cases, automotive shoppers began their car search online, while 50% of UK shoppers say they read online reviews about dealerships before deciding to contact them, CarGurus research revealed.

CarGurus’ vice president of European sales Wendy Harris said: “Listers Group are a well-known, trusted name in the market and an innovative company that has embraced digital as an important part of their marketing mix.

“This agreement will help expose Listers UK stock to our ready-to-buy car shoppers and provide more choice for consumers on CarGurus.

"This deal comes after Listers tested our site’s performance, and it is both testament to and evidence of the fact that our offering drives results for dealerships.”
