Mapfre Abraxas has been appointed by Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) Limited to provide GAP (Guaranteed Asset Protection) insurance products for retail customers.

The agreement includes five of the Volkswagen Group brands: Audi, SEAT, Škoda, Volkswagen and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

As a major account VWFS will be the responsibility of Mapfre Abraxas commercial director Nancy Rignall along with a dedicated account manager and commercial field support.

Robert Cottrell, head of insurance at VWFS, said, “Mapfre Abraxas was chosen because of their reputation, credibility and ability to offer individually branded solutions.
