New launch from Black Horse to give dealers additional revenue

Finance house Black Horse has launched Drivesure, a vehicle protection product, to help motor dealers grow their F&I revenues.

The insurance product provides cover for motorists to help them keep their car looking as good as the day they bought it, covering against minor vehicle repairs including small dents, scratches, scuffs and chips with the option to add additional cover for interior repairs, tyres, alloy wheels, MoT test, misfuelling and key protection.

Following a initial pilot at the end of 2011, Black Horse are now rolling out this new product to its network of dealers

Black Horse managing director Chris Sutton said: "We devised DriveSure to give customers more choice and provide our dealers with an added revenue stream.

"For the customer it means a straightforward, value for money product which provides them with additional peace of mind at the point of purchase," he said.

"For the dealer it offers a host of benefits – it will help improve their customer retention and encourages repeat business. It’s also convenient for the dealer to have all products available through one supplier and one IT system – so no need to key in customer information across several different systems.
