Used car supermarket AvailableCar has taken over the former Motorhouse2000 site on the A5 in Cannock, Staffordshire.

Motorhouse2000 has ceased trading and AvailableCar taken over the full 14 acre site and the 103 remaining staff.

Recruitment is also underwayto take on 40 new staff.

The new car supermarket will open and start trading as AvailableCar.com on Friday following a re-brand and modernisation.
 
The used car supermarket is the third for AvailableCar and spans over 14 acres and features a showroom, forecourt and a large paint and workshop. The site will hold 1,000 cars.

AvailableCar’s two other supermarket locations are in Castle Donington and Sutton-In-Ashfield.

AvailableCar is owned by Graham and Alison Bell. Since opening in January 2002, AvailableCar has sold more than 100,000 cars priced from £3,000 to £23,000.
