SsangYong has launched its Rodius replacement, the new seven-seater Turismo MPV, which is available to order now from £17,995.
The Turismo still has 875 litres of luggage space with seven passengers and this can be increased to 3,146 litres of space with five seats folded down. There will only be one engine available in the form of a 153bhp 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine which can be specified as a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic.
The new model comes with a five year limitless mileage warranty and there will be three trim levels available – S, ES and EX.
The EX trim comes with 4x4 as standard, while the entry and mid trims are rear-wheel drive. Safety equipment includes ESP, active roll protection, brake assist system, dual front and side airbags and ISO-Fix points for child seats on the second row of seats.
Standard equipment includes air conditioning, electrically operated & heated door mirrors, a leather covered steering wheel and gear knob, and an MP3 CD & RDS radio with a USB & auxiliary port and Bluetooth connectivity.
There are currently 52 SsangYong dealers in the UK and the brand is looking to announce further appointments soon.
