Car dealer group Stoneacre has launched its own driving school and is offering free lessons to car buyers.

It has opened a pop-up store in a shopping centre in Peterborough to promote its new car sales and the driving school venture, which operates in Peterborough and Doncaster.

The shop allows shopping centre visitors to view details of all the new and used cars for sale on Stoneacre forecourts as well as book a service or an MoT or discuss finance details.

General manager Shaun Brookhouse said: “For some people, a large dealership can be quite daunting. Here it is a more relaxed setting and already we have had a good few young women coming and having a look inside. But the shop is manned by our experienced staff, from our Peterborough dealerships, who will be able to deal with any queries people may have."

The shop is also being used to promote the new driving school, being launched in Peterborough and Doncaster, and anyone buying a new 63-place car from Stoneacre will be entitled to use it - the offer entitles the purchaser, or a member of their immediate family, to free driving lessons from our driving instructor in one of Stoneacre's cars until they pass their driving test.
