BEN, the UK’s automotive charity, has launched a survey which is looking to find the real issues affecting those who work in the automotive industry.

The charity is keen to understand what life factors are causing the most significant impact so that it can review its support services.

The new online survey is aimed at those who work, or have worked in the industry.

To thank participants for completing the survey BEN has an iPad mini 16GB (WiFi) up for grabs, with the winner chosen at random after the survey finishes on October 18 (participants who provide an email address will be entered into the draw and the winner’s details will be published on the BEN website).

All answers will be treated confidentially and, because BEN wants as many relevant participants as possible, the charity is hoping the link will be passed along.

Nigel Rothband, BEN’s chief operating officer, said: “We want people to forward the link to any colleagues or friends also in the industry, so that we can get as complete a view as possible.

“Our primary mandate is to provide care and support but to do this we need to ensure the help we provide is relevant. Those taking the time to participate in this survey will effectively inform us and help us to shape the services we offer both for them and future generations.”
