Trident, the British sports car brand, has launched its new flagship Iceni diesel sports car which has a top speed of over 190mph and the ability to run for 2,000 miles on a single tank of mineral or bio-diesel.
The Iceni is priced from £96,000 and Trident is also offering the Iceni in fastback and estate bodystyles.
All models are powered by a 6.6-litre V8 turbodiesel engine, which in standard form produces 424bhp and 950lb ft of torque. Trident says the model will return 68.9mpg.
Every Iceni can be built to specific customer spec, but standard cars feature over 39 bespoke components, including independent control of each car seat and oculight roof.
Trident is looking to attract customers from models like the Jaguar XK and Aston Martin DB9.
