Nissan has launched tis Nissan Service Care fixed price service and parts package on certain new and used models across its dealer network in the UK.

Dealers will be including a free courtesy car and video health checks (using Citnow technology) as part of the service.

The Japanese brand said the Service Care package was created to be the most straightforward and transparent aftersales proposition in the industry.

Nissan’s core model range and the majority of its volume sellers will be covered by the new service package. However, the Leaf, 350Z, 370Z, GT-R, Pathfinder, Navara, Patrol and LCV models will not be included in the deal.

Chris Marsh, Nissan aftersales director, said: “We have spent a great deal of time developing Nissan Service Care, studying the market place and consulting with our customers and dealers as we wanted to get it just right.

“Car servicing costs can be inconsistent making it difficult for customers to budget when it comes time to service their vehicle. Nissan Service Care removes any pricing uncertainty and ambiguity, introduces a new standard of affordability and builds trust and transparency.”

Nissan Service Care incorporates the following:

Fixed Price Servicing

Petrol/diesel

Minor £149/£159
Major £219/£249

If the vehicle is high mileage and requires additional service items to be replaced, this will be identified to the customer and also available at a fixed price.

eVision vehicle assessment video

Technicians will identify any concerns or problems with the customer’s vehicle, film it and make a personalised video explaining what’s needed. This will then be emailed to the customer so they can make an informed decision about what work they wish to have carried out.

Free vehicle software updates

During service, a Nissan-trained technician will check for any recall or service-related campaigns that remain outstanding on the customer’s vehicle and update the vehicle software accordingly.

Free pan-European Roadside Assist

Under Nissan Service Care, all customers having a service will receive one year’s free pan-European Roadside Assist, worth £95.
