Trowbridge Ford has been sold by Foray Motor Group.
The car dealership's new owner, Islington Motor Group, announced its acquisition last night.
Islington's group managing director Paul Jones said the takeover of the Ford dealership on Canal Road was the result of three months of hard work and determination.
"I would like to thank the team at Foray Motor Group for helping the acquisition go as smoothly as these things can and most importantly I would like to thank the Islington team both existing and new for their patience.
"This is going to be the start of a great new journey to put Ford back on the map in Trowbridge," Jones added.
Islington Motor Group already offers Citroen and Suzuki new and used cars and servicing from a dealership on the same road in Trowbridge and has a Peugeot authorised repair franchise.
