Marshall Motor Group marked the the opening of its new Maserati showroom in Peterborough with an exhibition of exclusive art works from iconic British artists including Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, Grayson Perry and Patrick Hughes.

Invited guests were given the opportunity to see the collection of British masterpieces at a champagne reception at the showroom.

In addition to the artwork, guests were entertained with live music by Loose Shoes and were given personalised caricatures drawn by Mark Tabbener as a memento from the occasion.

Marshall Maserati Peterborough, with its six car showroom, is the fourth new Maserati dealership to open this year.

The Italian prestige car marque now has a UK dealer network of 18 showrooms nationwide.

Peter Denton, region manager Maserati North Europe, said: "2014 has been a landmark year for Maserati. With the introduction of the new Ghibli model we have been able to attract many new customers.
