Dean Pipitone has become the managing director of Cooper Solutions following its acquisition by PIB Group.

Founders Barry Cooper and Peter Cooper will remain with the business, which has 34 employees and is based in Barford, Warwickshire, said PIB Group.

Cooper Solutions provides dealers with software products such as the FullAuction trade disposal platform, FullControl used car stock management system and FullCover, which is a daily rate insurance product provided through PIB-owned Cooke And Mason since 2004, which supports dealers' demonstrators and courtesy cars.

Barry Cooper (pictured) said: “We’re delighted that PIB is investing in us, and we are looking forward to providing our clients with access to a broader range of products and services through PIB.

"We place high value on the relationships we have with our customers, many of whom have been with us since our inception.”

Brendan McManus, PIB Group chief executive, said Cooper Solutions proven expertise in providing digital solutions to the automotive industry will open up new conversations and opportunities for its clients at Cooke and Mason.

"Likewise, we look forward to providing Cooper Solutions clients with further specialist advice and support from across the Group.”

PIB has now made 24 acquisitions in total since 2016, five of which have been this year including Optis Insurance in Ireland, the COBRA Group of companies, CMR Solutions, Sue Smith and Cooper Solutions.

Total headcount for the group now stands at about 1400 employees.
