Sinclair Group and Mercedes-Benz have opened a pop-up showroom in St David’s shopping centre in Cardiff.

The temporary showroom features an A-Class, facelifted C-Class Coupe and an approved used Smart Fortwo Coupe and will run until August 15.

Motorsport fans can try out a Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport Formula One simulator and compete for the best lap time.

The shop also features Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport 2018 Team wear on sale and there is a dedicated kid’s zone with children’s clothing, drawing station and interactive content.

Opening hours run between 9.30am and 8pm Monday to Friday, it opens until 7pm on Saturday and between 11am and 5pm on Sunday.

Mercedes has used the pop-up store format recently at other sites at London’s Westfield and Sheffield's Meadowhall shopping centres. It has been using them as a way of accessing high footfall retail locations and to show off new products. Mercedes said over one million customers have visited its pop-up stores since it first launched the idea three years ago in October 2015.
