Motorpoint Widnes has chosen Zoe’s Place Liverpool as its official charity partner.

The charity, in West Derby in Liverpool, supports babies and infants, up to the age of five, who have life limiting or life threatening conditions, as well as providing on-going support to those families throughout the North West completely free of charge.

Staff at Motorpoint Widnes on Derby Road, Widnes, will be supporting Zoe’s Place Liverpool with a series of fundraisers over the coming weeks and months. They have already raised close to a £1,000 after players from Widnes Vikings took part in a special ‘Charity Conversion Challenge’ onsite live last week on Wire FM. They hope to raise at least £5,000 by the end of 2015.

General manager of Motorpoint Widnes Kevin Cartwright said: “We’re delighted to have teamed up with Zoe’s Place Liverpool and look forward to raising as much money as possible for a charity that does so much to support babies and infants affected by life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses within our community.”
