A slice of Goodwood glamour is to be assembled at the FCA Group’s flagship Motor Village retail store in central London.

The showroom area of the facility has been handed over solely to Abarth and Alfa Romeo until July 4 as a special classic car exhibition takes centre stage at the facility.

A mix of new and old products will feature at the event, with star-billing said to be taken by the eagerly-anticipated Abarth 124 spider, which will be displayed alongside the new Abarth 595 series and Alfa’s potent 4C roadster.

But five historic racing cars have also been brought in to the Wigmore Street showroom, direct from last week’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, to complete the exhibition.

The full line-up of new and historic cars on display for the exhibition is: Abarth 124 spider; Abarth 595; Alfa Romeo 4C; Alfa Romeo Giulia TI Super, 1963; Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, 1970; Alfa Romeo 33/3 Le Mans, 1970; and a Fiat 124 Abarth Rally, 1975.

Fabio di Prima, managing director of Motor Village UK, said: “We are very lucky to be able to have these classic cars, new and old, in our showroom for a whole week.

“They are all exceptional models which show off our glorious past and give a vision of our future. If you missed the cars at Goodwood, here’s your chance to see them in London.”

The show cars – and an on-going art exhibition already been shown at Motor Village UK – will be available to see during normal working hours (9.30am – 6.30pm, 11am – 6pm Sat, 10am – 4pm Sun).
