The aftermath of a Tesla leaving a roundabout in Hertford and hitting a Mercedes-Benz car as it went over it at a dealership has been caught on camera.

The 16-plate Tesla Model S is said by a witness on camera to have left the road, crossed the verge and hit the 66-plate Mercedes-Benz E220D parked outside a Smart dealership, operated by L&L Automotive at Foxholes Business Park.

It came to a halt after hitting a pillar of the building, breaking the glass. The Tesla's airbags have deployed.

A witness says on camera: “It went over the bushes – it flew.”
