HR Owen sold two cars packed with over £30,000-worth of champagne after partnering with prestige champagne brand Armand de Brignac for an intimate tasting session.

During the event at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London, in Berkeley Square, Armand de Brignac chief executive Sebastien Besson surprised two of the dealership’s Rolls-Royce customers, pledging to fill the boots of the cars they purchased with luxury champagne

A Ghost Black Badge and a Wraith sold on the day were subsequently packed with over £30,000 worth of the prestige champagne included as an unexpected gift.

Known for its iconic gold metalised bottles with hand-applied French pewter labels, Champagne Armand de Brignac is widely regarded as the ‘Rolls-Royce of champagne’

Besson said: “We were delighted to host an exclusive prestige champagne tasting event with Rolls-Royce.

“To our surprise, guests confirmed the purchases of a Wraith and a Ghost Black Badge that very evening, so in celebration we decided to fill the boots with bottles of Armand de Brignac.”

Claus Andersen, brand director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London, said: “We thoroughly enjoyed teaming up with Armand de Brignac for its champagne tasting exhibition, and it proved to be a hugely successful event.

“Our clients had a fantastic time, and we’re very thankful for Sebastien Besson’s generosity filling the car boots with champagne. It’s only fitting that the Rolls-Royce of champagne came together with Rolls-Royce itself.”
