East Anglian dealer group John Grose has hailed "outstanding financial results" as its annual results recorded turnover growth of over 12%.

The Lowestoft-based, seven-site operation passed the £175m mark, reaching £175.7 in the year to December 31st, a year after recording a £156.5 million result from its portfolio of sites with Ford Kia, Citroën, Peugeot and DS Automobiles.

Pre-tax profits grew by almost 13%, rising from £3.1 million to £3.5 million, as return on sales was measured at 2%.

The group also celebrated staff turnover in the region of 10% to 15% against “an industry average of around 30%” and received Ford Motor Company’s Chairman’s Award for outstanding customer service during the reporting period.

In its financial statement for the period, John Grose described its latest financial results as a "truly outstanding achievement".
