Scotland is set to get its fourth Porsche dealership, to be run by Peter Vardy.

The AM100 dealer group already has a Porsche franchise in Aberdeen, which it acquired in 2012 from Town And County and relocated into new-build premises in 2015.

Yeoman McAllister Architects are managing the £3.5m Porsche Centre Perth project, to be built on a 1.5 acre site at Broxden Business park, off the busy A9, providing the plans are approved.

A detailed application was submitted this month, which suggested there would be space for 25 used cars outside the 13-car showroom, a workshop with eight car bays and an MOT bay.

The dealership would also have a dedicated battery change bay in the workshop, and a new car handover bay at the edge of the showroom.

A first floor mezzanine would be home to a training suite, boardroom, staff canteen plus accounts and administration functions.

The dealership would create 29 full time permanent jobs, according to the application.

Scotland's Porsche dealerships are in Glasgow (Sytner), Edinburgh (Sytner) and Aberdeen (Peter Vardy)
