Video imaging business AutosOnShow  has partnered with valeting company Motorclean to make dealers’ stock presentation more efficient.

AutosOnShow managing director Adam Price said: “The relationship we have developed with Motorclean means our app is being used to image cars at the best possible time, when they have just been cleaned and valeted.”

Price said a benefit is that professional imagery is uploaded and online in minutes. Dealer groups undergoing the combined service include Glyn Hopkins, Cambria Automobiles, Brindley Garages Group, Lookers Group and John Grose Group.

Richard Mochor, head of web at Cambria Automobiles, said: “Speed to market is unbelievably important in our industry and the AutosOnShow.TV system at least halves the time we can get a car to market with quality video, imagery and have a personalised video function available to all our guests.

“Along with a number of other functional and operational improvements, we have seen a marked improvement in our stock turn rates.”

A study by Cox Automotive found that 65% of consumers consider vehicle videos to be an important part of their car-shopping process.
