Former Hyundai, Citroen and Vauxhall marketing expert Andrew Cullis has joined Skoda UK.

Cullis has been appointed to the role of head of marketing for Skoda UK, reporting into its director Alasdair Stewart.

He has moved from Hyundai UK, where he was marketing director for the past seven years. Prior to that, he held various roles in brand and product marketing and PR at Vauxhall and Citroen.

His remit covers media planning and buying, advertising, digital, retailer support, events and sponsorship.

Alasdair Stewart, Skoda UK director, said: "Andrew joins the brand at an exciting time. Skoda UK has become known for its award-winning national and local marketing, which has helped to transform our image and increase awareness of the brand, and Andrew has the right credentials to take Skoda further still."

Cullis takes over the role from Heidi Cartledge, who has moved to become head of customer quality and network development for Skoda UK.

She will lead a team tasked with delivering a better brand experience for Skoda customers through developing the network through adoption of its new corporate identity programme, the retail experience and putting focus on customer satisfaction.

Stewart added: "Heidi has the passion, spirit and ideas to take the Skoda customer experience and loyalty to the next level, through our freshly redeveloped retailer network."
