BCA has signalled its goal to deliver Pan-European supply chain solutions with the appointment of Konrad Zwirner into the new role of European strategic development director.

Reporting to EU chief operating officer remarketing, Jean-Roch Piat, with effect from June 1st, Zwirner will develop a three-year business plan for BCA’s European operations, with a focus on growth and the provision of new services in the mid-term. 

Zwirner joins BCA directly from his current position as a senior director of Hödlmayr International AG, a major pan-European vehicle logistics supplier.

Tim Lampert, chief finance officer at BCA Marketplace plc, said: “We are delighted to welcome Konrad Zwirner to the BCA team.

“He brings a great deal of experience and market knowledge of the European logistics sector gained with Hödlmayr International.”
