Jeremy Hicks has left the managing director's seat at Jaguar Land Rover UK.

Rawdon Glover has been appointed his successor, according to AM's sources. Glover has been Jaguar Land Rover's global director of customer services since 2013.

AM understands that Hicks will now have the new role of market performance director at JLR, with responsibility for driving the best results from JLR's dealers and operations globally.

The changes were communicated to UK Jaguar and Land Rover franchisees today.

Having driven growth at Audi last decade, Hicks joined JLR in 2011 to head the UK sales operation as it laid the foundations for volume growth, through a restructuring of its franchised dealer network and the expansion of its product range into lower-medium executive cars and SUVs.
