Park’s Motor Group Honda Inverness apprentice parts advisor, Ashleigh Bain, has been recognised by the Institute of Motoring Industry (IMI) as ‘Outstanding Non-Technical Student of the Year’.

The award was part of the IMI’s recent Outstanding Achievers Awards 2018 in Hertfordshire and comes as Bain works towards completing her Vehicle Parts Operations Level 6 SVQ & Level 6 Diploma at the Harbour Road facility.

She said: “I am extremely proud to be the recipient of the Outstanding Non-Technical Student of the Year award, to be selected from students across the UK is a real honour and it was a wonderful surprise. I would like to thank all the team at Park’s Honda for the support and training.”

Willie Cumming, group aftersales director at Park’s Motor Group, said: “In achieving the award, Ashleigh was recognised for her outstanding work ethic, attention to detail and communication skills; as well as always being willing to go above and beyond her remit for the sake of the team.

“We could not be prouder. Well done and well-deserved, Ashleigh.”
