ADESA UK claims that it is can now provide tools which will allow traders to appraise a vehicle and bring it to market in less than 10 minutes.

The remarketing specialist, owned by leading North American KAR Auction Services, is aiming to drive the growth of online automotive remarketing by making use of new technology and the skills of its 85-strong team.

ADESA claims that its upstream remarketing enables dealers to buy significant numbers with access to the freshest stock, allowing contract hire and leasing companies to be more proactive with their vehicle stocks.

It also allows OEMs to maximise the value of their stock and increase brand retention with their own customers;

ADESA’s technology also allows vendors to appraise a vehicle and bring it to market in less than 10 minutes, it claims, with an additional white label, managed rental vehicle buy-back and management car solution available for OEMs.

Jonathan Holland, managing director of ADESA Remarketing UK, said: “ADESA’s ambition in the UK is to offer greater choice, provide a viable and credible online remarketing alternative and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

“ADESA’s long-term objectives are to become recognised as the leading remarketing partner of choice, to consistently introduce innovative new solutions to the UK market and to grow both our volume and our geographic footprint.”

ADESA’s recent growth has been bolstered by the acquisition of a leading technology business GRS in June 2016.

HBC Vehicle Services, a leading vehicle salvage auction company, is also a part of KAR’s UK concern.
