Vauxhall's flagship Omega range gets a boost in the shape of the new Omega Sport. Based on the existing MV6, the Omega Sport has the Omega sports chassis. Its body sits 15mm lower on uprated spring and shock absorber settings, complemented by the same 17 inch alloy wheels and ultra low profile Michelin tyres. Externally the Omega Sport features the same front air dam and rear spoiler as the MV6. On the inside there is alloy-effect interior trim on the centre fascia, door panel and gear lever surround. Driver and front passenger get the same sports seats used in the MV6.

The Omega Sport is powered by the 2.2 litre 16v 144PS engine which made its debut in the new Omega. Top speed is 131mph.

Standard equipment includes four airbags, ABS, electronic climate control, headlamp washers and front fog lights. The Omega Sport is available in saloon or estate versions, priced at £19,995 and £20,995 on the road.
