Renault UK boss Ken Ramirez has a new job.

The company has announced he has been appointed senior vice president, sales and marketing for Europe. He will also be a member of the Renault management committee when he gives up his role as managing director.

Ramirez (pictured) has been managing director of Renault UK since February 2013, including the Renault and Dacia brands in the North Europe Territory, covering UK, Ireland, Cyprus and Malta markets.

He is a board member on the UK Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders executive and an advisory counsellor for the French Chamber of Commerce in the UK. 

He takes up the new role on April 1. His replacement has yet to be announced.
