Top AM100 dealer group Pendragon has been awarded the Investors in People standard for the seventeenth year.

The group has over 200 locations across the UK and has 9,000 team members.

The Investors in People framework provides companies 27 scales for comparison and works by using online assessment data taken by employees feeding back about the business.

Neil Potentier, lead assessor from Investors in People, said: "Pendragon has experienced some significant improvements in the three years since our last assessment both within its people and processes which it should be extremely proud of.

“There is a great sense of pride from the team members to work for such a successful PLC that they see as ‘ahead of the game’.

“We’ve heard that the team is already working on areas for development and it’s that refusal to stand still and keep enhancing and developing its team member experience that is so inspiring. Well done to the whole team."

Potentier also praised the business for higher levels of job satisfaction and its team member’s strong allegiance to their locality, team and brand that helps to create “excellent team spirit”.

The body also gave a special accolade to Pendragon's learning and development team that provide team member inductions, role based training, online learning, leadership development and coaching to name a few.

Trevor Finn, Pendragon chief executive, said: "Supporting our people and striving for a great team member experience is a key part of our strategy and we hope our reaccreditation is just one of the things that makes our team proud to be Pendragon.”
