The brand new Renault Koleos is now available to order, with prices starting from £28,195, and deliveries starting in November.

It was unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show earlier this year andf revealed changes to the flagship SUV's engine line-up and a range of new enhanced safety features.

The new 1.7-litre Blue dCi 150 engine is available in front-wheel drive only, while the larger 2.0-litre Blue dCi 190 is matched to Renault’s intelligent All Mode 4x4-i system.

All versions now also benefit from hands-free parking, Pure Vision LED headlamps, a new bumper design, and a larger skid plate.

Exterior revisions include the option of a new ‘Red Vintage’ metallic paint.

The interior features new soft-touch materials, revised satin trim inserts and a two-stage reclining seat back.

Renault has also introduced a pedestrian detection function for the Active Emergency Braking System (AEBS).

Other safety features are its Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning and over speed preventing with traffic sign recognition,

Other features include a seven-inch screen with satellite navigation and smartphone replication, front and rear parking sensors with reversing camera, hands free keycard, automatic dual-zone climate control, full ‘Pure Vision’ LED headlights, cruise control and speed limiter, automatic lights and wipers, heated/cooled cup holders and auto-dimming rear-view mirror. 

The new release comes after a 6.4% H1 2019 decline in revenues and 11.8% dip in operating profit at Renault during the first half of 2019.

The French car manufacturer’s total revenues in the period to June 30 slipped to €28.1bn as its operation profit declined to €1.5bn.
