Fix Auto has created a new National Leadership Team (NLT), tasked to drive its network forward.

The new team of 15 comprises of franchisee representatives with the inclusion of external industry experts. It will be chaired by Terry Gilbert, owner of Fix Auto Chelmsford.

Ian Pugh, Fix Auto’s director, and Michael McClaren, head of operations, sit on the body as representatives of Fix Auto UK.

“Fix Auto is a network of independent vehicle repair centres, we are a collective that works together with a constant drive to improve the services we deliver to our customers. The NLT has been formed to ensure each and every member has a voice that can be heard at the very top table. This new team has been further strengthened by individuals who are experts in their own respective fields,” said Gilbert.

Team members elected by fellow Fix Auto franchisees are: Louise Woolacott (Fix Auto Mid Devon), Andy O’Hare (Fix Auto Aberdeen, Elgin and Inverness), Neil Parker (Fix Auto Dagenham), Ranjit Gill (Fix Auto Slough), Sam Smith (Fix Auto Keighley and Leeds), Paul Smith (Fix Auto Loughborough), Richard Edwards (Fix Auto Oswestry and Wrexham), James Gore (Fix Auto Manchester East) and Mick Whitehead (Fix Auto Stoke-On-Trent).

Independent insurance consultant Ian Guest along with independent communications consultant Cheryl Chung and Steve Thompson, non-executive director of Fix Auto UK and repair industry consultant, complete the team line up.

Pugh added: “Fix Auto UK is growing and developing at speed, our new National Leadership Team has been formed to ensure we maximise the output of our decisions going forward. Personally, I feel the depth of knowledge and expertise of those members is unrivalled and will ensure the network maintains our successful growth going forward.”
