An opportunity has arisen for a senior surveyor / associate director valuation surveyor to join a longstanding consultancy based in London. On offer is a competitive salary of up to £65k in addition to a car allowance and other benefits. Successful candidates with be providing services for a number of clients including financial institutions and high net worth individuals as well as various public sector clients.
Daily duties
* Proven track record in valuation of a wide range of commercial properties in a number of property sectors as well as being able to value mixed use (eg retail with residential above)
* Capable of applying current market insight and knowledge to valuation modelling, including a ‘stand back and look’ approach based on high quality analysis of supportable market data
* Highest standard of quality control and self-review ability is essential prior to peer review
* Working collaboratively with other teams across the wider business
* Ability to deal with several instructions at the same time efficiently and effectively
Skills Required:
* Experience of liaising directly with clients throughout each instruction to provide updates on progress and to discuss the rationale behind your valuation;
* Enterprise, Argus Developer and KEL Sigma & Developer
* Fully conversant with up to date RICS Valuation - Professional Standards and financial reporting standards for UK GAAP and IFRS for valuations
* Deliver fee income commensurate with role • MRICS and RICS registered valuer Demonstrable record within Valuation working for a leading consultancy or boutique firm
